At GNG Promotion, custom products, packaging and gift sets come to life inspired by the latest trends. Drawing on proven expertise and passionate teams, GNG Promotion transforms every vision into a unique experience for its clients.

A management-driven approach already underway, but in need of consolidation
GNG Promotion had undertaken several CSR initiatives, but these remained scattered, with low formalisation and insufficiently aligned with the group’s strategy. The company had a solid foundation : membership in the United Nations Global Compact, EcoVadis assessments (Gold Medal with 76/100) and the publication of a sustainability report for several years. Yet, GNG Promotion lacked a structured vision shared both internally and externally.
In addition, clear business ambitions had been expressed: reducing value chain risks, increasing repeat orders from key accounts and strengthening visibility among groups with high CSR requirements.
Three interconnected core ambitions:

  1. Structure the CSR approach by aligning it with existing initiatives, formalising a unifying Purpose Statement and co-building a strategic roadmap with the teams.
  2. Engage and inspire by empowering employees to become active drivers of the approach, and by involving stakeholders in the co-creation of positive-impact projects.
  3. Showcase efforts and progress made: publication of the 2024 sustainability report, improvement of the EcoVadis rating and implementation of clear, inspiring communications.

At the intersection of the strategic and the operational: CSR strategic alignment, team mobilisation, value chain risks, extra-financial performance (formalisation of a CSR KPI reporting framework), certification & credibility.

 

Pragmatic, co-built, designed to last

 

The main challenge was not to start from scratch, but to build on what already existed while giving the whole a new coherence. Mindful of the company’s size, I adopted a deliberately pragmatic approach: tools scaled to GNG Promotion’s reality, directly operational deliverables, with no unnecessary complexity.

A single guiding thread ran throughout the entire assignment: co-building with Team Oxygène, the internal CSR team appointed for the occasion, so that the approach would take lasting root beyond the project itself.

This participatory format enabled the teams to take ownership of the issues, anchor the approach in their day-to-day reality and move forward with a roadmap they had themselves helped to write.

  • EcoVadis rating improvement (+5 pts / Gold Medal)

  • A strengthened CSR positioning to meet the requirements of key accounts and tender processes
